The free trial

Every new SimplyRank account starts with a 14-day free trial. No credit card required.

The trial exists for one reason: to let you see real data on your real brand before you pay anything.

What's included

The trial is intentionally narrower than paid plans on a few axes:

• Only 1 scan. Designed to show you the product, not to run a continuous monitoring operation for free.
• No scheduled scans. Daily / weekly cadence is a paid feature.
• No exports. CSV export starts on Starter.

What you can do during the trial

In about 30 minutes you can:

1. Complete the 5-step onboarding (~3 minutes).
2. Wait for the first scan to finish (~5 minutes).
3. Read your visibility, position, and sentiment scorecards.
4. Look at which competitors AI mentions most.
5. Click through to Recommendations and pick one to act on.
6. Decide whether SimplyRank is worth paying for.

What happens when the trial ends

After 14 days:

1. Scans pause. No new scans run on a trial account.
2. Your results are kept, but the pages lock. You can still sign in. Every page except Settings shows a "Your free trial has ended" screen with a button to choose a plan.
3. Choosing a plan opens every page again and starts scheduled scans. Choose one from that screen or under Settings → Billing.
4. If you don't pick a plan, the pages stay locked and nothing is deleted. We don't delete trial data automatically; to have it deleted, see Deleting your account.

You can pick a plan at any time during or after the trial — you don't have to do it on day 14.

Need more time?

If 14 days isn't enough — for example, your stakeholder review is three weeks out — email [email protected]. We can usually extend the trial by a few days.

Common questions

Do I have to enter a credit card? No. The trial requires only a work email and a domain.

Will I be charged automatically when the trial ends? No. There's no payment method on file, so there's nothing to charge. The trial simply ends: your results are kept, and every page except Settings asks you to choose a plan.

Can I try Gap Analysis, Citations and Sentiment? Yes. The trial includes every dashboard page. Its limits are lower (10 prompts and one scan), so if you want to evaluate at Pro volume, email us and we can set up a Pro evaluation.

Can I get the trial twice? Trials are tied to your work domain. If you've already trialled under your domain, contact us — we'll usually arrange another evaluation if circumstances have changed.

What if my onboarding is incomplete on day 14? The trial timer starts when you sign up. If onboarding is incomplete you can still complete it, but the 14 days are running. If you've been blocked (e.g. the sign-in email didn't arrive), email us and we'll reset the clock.
