This Privacy Policy explains how SimplyRank collects, uses, shares, and protects personal data in connection with our website and services.
1. What data we collect
We collect the information needed to create and operate a SimplyRank account. This includes account details such as name, email address, company name, login activity, and workspace settings.
If you subscribe to a paid plan, billing information is processed through Stripe. We receive billing metadata such as your customer ID, subscription status, invoice status, and plan selection, but we do not store full payment card details on our servers.
We also collect scan metadata needed to provide the service. This can include the brands, competitors, prompts, models, report settings, timestamps, and system logs associated with scans that you run through SimplyRank.
2. How we use it
We use your data to provide the service you signed up for, including authenticating your account, running scans, generating reports, and maintaining your workspace settings.
We use service and usage data to improve reliability, performance, product quality, and support. That can include diagnosing failures, understanding feature adoption, investigating abuse, and improving the presentation of scan results.
We may also use contact information to respond to support requests, billing questions, legal notices, and operational updates related to your account.
3. Third parties we share with
We share data with a limited set of service providers that help us run SimplyRank. Our current core providers include Supabase for application data and authentication, Stripe for billing, Vercel for hosting and delivery, and Sentry for error monitoring.
These providers only receive the information needed to perform their role. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share customer data with advertising networks.
4. Data retention
We keep account, billing, and scan records for as long as needed to provide the service, meet contractual obligations, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, and comply with legal requirements.
If you close your account or request deletion, we will delete or anonymize data within a reasonable period unless we are required to keep specific records for security, finance, tax, or legal purposes.
5. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. If you are in the EEA or UK, this includes GDPR-style rights. If you are a California resident, this includes CCPA-style rights such as requesting access to or deletion of personal information and asking about our data practices.
