The 7-day trial

Every new SimplyRank account starts with a 7-day free trial. No credit card required.

The trial exists for one reason: to let you see real data on your real brand before you pay anything.

What's included

The trial is intentionally narrower than paid plans on a few axes:

• Only 1 scan. Designed to show you the product, not to run a continuous monitoring operation for free.
• No scheduled scans. Daily / weekly cadence is a paid feature.
• No exports, no API, no Slack alerts. Those are for production use.
• No Gap Analysis, Citations, or Sentiment pages. These are Pro-tier features. You can see basic sentiment on the Dashboard.

What you can do during the trial

In about 30 minutes you can:

1. Complete the 5-step onboarding (~3 minutes).
2. Wait for the first scan to finish (~5 minutes).
3. Read your visibility, position, and sentiment scorecards.
4. Look at which competitors AI mentions most.
5. Click through to Recommendations and pick one to act on.
6. Decide whether SimplyRank is worth paying for.

What happens when the trial ends

After 7 days:

1. Scans pause. No new scans run on a trial account.
2. You can still log in. Your data stays visible (read-only) for a short grace period.
3. You'll see a prompt to pick a plan. Choosing a plan reactivates scanning and unlocks features for that plan.
4. If you don't pick a plan, your account moves to a dormant state. Data is retained for 30 days; after that it's deleted unless you reactivate.

You can pick a plan at any time during or after the trial — you don't have to do it on day 7.

Need more time?

If 7 days isn't enough — for example, your stakeholder review is in 10 days — email [email protected]. We can usually extend the trial by a few days.

Common questions

Do I have to enter a credit card? No. The trial requires only a work email and a domain.

Will I be charged automatically when the trial ends? No. There's no payment method on file, so there's nothing to charge. The trial expires gracefully into a dormant state.

Can I trial Pro features? Not by default. The trial gives you access to the core dashboard pages. If you specifically want to evaluate Pro features (Gap Analysis, Citations, full Sentiment), email us and we can set up a Pro evaluation.

Can I get the trial twice? Trials are tied to your work domain. If you've already trialed under your domain, contact us — we'll usually arrange another evaluation if circumstances have changed.

What if my onboarding is incomplete on day 7? The trial timer starts when you sign up. If onboarding is incomplete you can still complete it, but the 7 days are running. If you've been blocked (e.g. the magic link didn't arrive), email us and we'll reset the clock.
