Privacy and GDPR
This page summarizes your privacy rights and how to exercise them. The full legal version is our Privacy Policy.
What personal data we hold about you
A SimplyRank account contains:
- Account details: name, email, company name, sign-in activity, workspace settings.
- Billing metadata: Stripe customer ID, subscription status, invoice history. (No card numbers — Stripe handles those.)
- Activity logs: which features you used, when you signed in, what you edited.
- Communications: support emails you've sent us, our replies.
The brand, competitor, and prompt data you configure are about brands, not about you personally.
Your rights under GDPR (EEA / UK)
If you're in the EEA or UK, GDPR gives you the right to:

Your rights under CCPA (California)
If you're a California resident, CCPA gives you the right to:
- Know what personal information we collect and why.
- Request deletion of personal information.
- Opt out of the sale of personal information (we don't sell data, so this is moot).
- Non-discrimination for exercising your rights.
How to exercise your rights
For any data request — access, deletion, correction, export, restriction:
- Email [email protected] from the email address tied to your account.
- State what you want (e.g. "I'd like a copy of all personal data you hold about me").
- We may ask for additional information to verify your identity.
- We respond within 30 days (we usually respond within a few business days).
There's no fee for these requests in normal cases. If a request is excessive or repetitive, we may charge a reasonable admin fee or refuse.
Cookies
SimplyRank uses three categories of cookies:

What we share with third parties
We share data with the service providers needed to run SimplyRank:

| Upstash | Rate limiting to stop abuse (IP address or account ID, briefly) |
| Resend | Email delivery (sign-in emails, notifications and product emails) |
| OpenAI / Anthropic / Perplexity / Google | AI model APIs (we send prompts; they return responses). Anthropic also writes the replies of the chat assistant on our website |
| Cloudflare | Site delivery, cookieless web analytics, tag management, and the chat assistant on our website (it receives the messages you type) |
| Google Analytics and Heap | Site and product usage measurement. They run only if you opt in to analytics cookies; until then, nothing is sent to them |
| Google Ads | Ad measurement. The tag loads on every page but sets no advertising cookies unless you opt in to marketing cookies |
Each provider only receives the data needed for its role. The full legal version, with our legal basis for each use, is in our Privacy Policy.
We do not sell personal data. We do not share your account or scan data with advertising networks.
International transfers
SimplyRank is operated by Adoomi Limited, a company registered in the Masdar City Free Zone, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Your account, configuration and scan data are stored in Zurich, Switzerland, on every plan. Messages typed into the chat assistant on our website are stored in Ireland. Some data is processed in other countries by the providers above, including in the United States (for example Stripe and the AI model providers).
Data we don't collect
To be explicit:
- We don't collect your IP address beyond rate-limiting and security logs (and we don't sell or share it).
- We don't profile you across other sites.
- We don't use your data to train AI models.
- We don't set advertising or analytics cookies, on the dashboard or anywhere else, unless you opt in to them in Cookie settings.
