Privacy and GDPR
This page summarizes your privacy rights and how to exercise them. The full legal version is our Privacy Policy.
What personal data we hold about you
A SimplyRank account contains:
- Account details: name, email, company name, sign-in activity, workspace settings.
- Billing metadata: Stripe customer ID, subscription status, invoice history. (No card numbers — Stripe handles those.)
- Activity logs: which features you used, when you signed in, what you edited.
- Communications: support emails you've sent us, our replies.
The brand, competitor, and prompt data you configure are about brands, not about you personally.
Your rights under GDPR (EEA / UK)
If you're in the EEA or UK, GDPR gives you the right to:

Your rights under CCPA (California)
If you're a California resident, CCPA gives you the right to:
- Know what personal information we collect and why.
- Request deletion of personal information.
- Opt out of the sale of personal information (we don't sell data, so this is moot).
- Non-discrimination for exercising your rights.
How to exercise your rights
For any data request — access, deletion, correction, export, restriction:
- Email [email protected] from the email address tied to your account.
- State what you want (e.g. "I'd like a copy of all personal data you hold about me").
- We may ask for additional information to verify your identity.
- We respond within 30 days (we usually respond within a few business days).
There's no fee for these requests in normal cases. If a request is excessive or repetitive, we may charge a reasonable admin fee or refuse.
Cookies
SimplyRank uses three categories of cookies:

What we share with third parties
We share data with a small set of vetted service providers needed to run SimplyRank:

Each provider only receives the data needed for its role. We have data processing agreements where required.
We do not sell personal data. We do not share data with advertising networks for cross-site tracking.
International transfers
SimplyRank is a UK company. Some data may be processed in the United States (where Stripe, Vercel, and AI model providers operate). When data leaves the EEA/UK, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or other lawful transfer mechanisms.
Data we don't collect
To be explicit:
- We don't collect your IP address beyond rate-limiting and security logs (and we don't sell or share it).
- We don't profile you across other sites.
- We don't use your data to train AI models.
- We don't use third-party trackers on the dashboard.
